This unique log cabin is secluded and beautifully decorated. Hand made quilts hang from the walls in every room. Soak in the hot tub under tall pines just below the big front deck. The master bedroom opens out onto the front deck has a queen bed, beautiful quilts, cabTV and master bath with clawfoot tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen, cabTV and hall bath with a shower only. An optional basement room accessible from the back deck has daybed twins, full bath and cabTV. The loft has a futon couch/bed, pool table and looks out the huge prow windows into the forest. There is also a desk with cable internet access. The living, dining and kitchen areas are surrounded with wood above and below. Leather furnishings face the big rock fireplace that burns real wood. A wood stove keeps the cabin warm in the winter in addition to a forced air gas furnace. A cabTV is esconced in a wooden cabinet. There is a modern kitchen with more wood cabinets and a small back deck with a gas grill and two seat table. The large front deck wraps around the huge prow windows and has a recessed hot tub, six seat patio table and looks out over the forested hillside. Hiking and mountain biking can be accessed right from the front door. But the peaceful quiet (except for the birds!) will coax you back to the deck for a nap, a good book or soak in the hot tub. The access is mostly pavement but the last half mile is dirt. The driveway is also narrow and steep. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended during inclement weather but regular cars can get up with careful driving under normal conditions. RatesPer night, Double Occupancy |
